Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World
by Joanna Weaver
Ch. 3 My favorites. Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139: 23-24
ReplyDeletepg. 36 Our mind disperses the problem into billions of fear droplets, obscuring God's face. Taking our anxiety to the Lord is often the last thing we think of when we are spiritually fogged in. And yet only the "Son" has the power to disperse it.
pg. 38 Concern draws us to God. Worry pulls us from Him.
Pg.40 Phil.4:6-7
